Every two years, a global defense community from over 52 countries, consisting of high-ranking military and political leaders, gathers in Amman, Jordan for four days to attend The Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX). The first day of the event focuses on the conference for Special Operations Forces, Counter Terrorism and Homeland Security, followed by a three-day exhibit by world-class equipment manufacturers. Key military officials and government decision makers present and discuss the latest and most advanced technology solutions for Special Operations Forces around the world. The event is widely recognized as one of the most important in the global defense industry.

His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan founded SOFEX in 1996, and is an avid supporter of MTM Special Ops Watches. He can be seen wearing a MTM Black Falcon Watch at the event in the image below. MTM Special Ops Jordanian Distributor had a number of watches on exhibit that were eye-soaked by all of the different military members present. Other sponsors included Northrup Grumman, Lockheed Martin and Boeing. The exhibition space was quite massive with over 75,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor exhibition room. Defense Ministers, Special Operations Commanders, Chiefs of Armed Forces and many other military and government officials attended SOFEX 2016, making it a premier event for promoting global safety and security worldwide.
