The Richest / DWAYNE JOHNSON “THE ROCK” / MTM COBRA
Dwayne Johnson “The Rock” has a mature and elegant timepiece collection. He wears his MTM Special Ops Cobra during his shoots of the 2018 movies Rampage and Skyscraper. The Gear Bunker / MTM US-744X
Inspired by the elusive Virginia class attack submarines, the US-744X is a tier-one diver’s watch. Machined from solid Grade 5 Titanium, the 45mm x 16mm case and bracelet weigh only 6.5 ounces combined. A sleek multi colored brass dial incorporate tritium-gas tubes in lieu of numerals to provide readability in low light conditions. The hands are also equipped with tritium-gas filled tubes making them easy to read underwater. The second hand smoothly sweeps across the elegant dial giving the US-744X a very classy feel. A feature typically found on higher end watches.
A Blog to Watch / MTM US-744X
The MTM US-744X is a limited edition of only 500 pieces that draws its inspiration from the U.S. Navy’s Virginia class submarines launched in the wake of the Cold War — these subs began as smaller, more economical alternatives to the Seawolf class subs they replaced but have evolved over the years to be hardly recognizable to their forebears.
Watch Report / MTM Watch Seal Review
If you have watched the video already, you can see that the The MTM Special OPS Seal Diver is very well constructed. The double Allen screws in the bracelet and lugs, the easy to grasp bezel, the real carbon fiber dial and a stamped case back with knife logo. Because it is titanium, it is much lighter than a watch of this size would be, coming in at 175 grams.Read More
Keep The Time / MTM FALCON: A TOOL WATCH WITH AN ACTUAL TOOL BUILT-IN
“Tool watch” is a term that is thrown around the watch industry a lot. KeepTheTime is known for specializing in some obscure tool watches over the years, but the MTM Special Ops Falcon tactical military watch goes beyond the call of duty by incorporating and actual tool…Read More
The Gentleman Racer / Hypertec H-61 Review
I have been enjoying wearing the MTM Hypertec H-61 for the last few weeks, a watch from a brand known for its rugged military-grade watches. Each MTM is made in the USA and is GSA approved as a military specification compliant timepiece. While the Hypertec line is the entry-level for MTM, you wouldn’t know it based on the high quality of finish and attention to detail, the H-61 is a lot of watch for the money as many other sports watches are in the same price range as the H-61.
The Gear Bunker / MTM PREDATOR II
Tactical watches have been around for awhile. Hell, I have a drawer full of watches and most of them fall into that category. I spent some of my youth in the Ranger Regiment and always had an oversized durable watch on my left wrist. Timing was something we constantly relied on for mission success. Something easy to read while being shock and waterproof was the criteria at the time. Since then, my budget has increased a bit and opened new doors to pieces from MTM Watch. The newly redesigned Predator II is my latest watch review from MTM Watch.Read More
The Gear Bunker / MTM STATUS
At first glance, you’d have no idea the Status is anything more than a traditional round cased timepiece. The 45.5mm solid titanium case keeps weight down considering it’s 16mm thick as well. Weighing only 6.25 oz with the metal band, even lighter with a leather or nylon bands, it doesn’t feel as big as it looks. Lying below the anti-glare Sapphire Crystal glass is a slick composite dial with luminous hands and large easy to read numbers.Read More
The Gear Bunker / PRECISION TIMEPIECE | AIR STRYK II
The cockpit of an aircraft is a wall of precision dials, gauges, meters and displays. Each one with a specific purpose. Measuring fuel quantity, altitude, airspeed, rate of climb, bank angle, etc. All critical to the safe operation of flight. Equally paramount to safe flying is time management. Making the watch you choose to wear on your wrist just as important. And that’s why I chose the Air Stryk II from MTM Watch. Fortunately, this is one precision instrument that I can take with me after each flight.Read More

Watch Report / Pilot Watch Air Stryk II Review By Watch Report
Aeronautics, the science, art, and practice of travel through the air, is quite intriguing. Don’t you think so? Admit it, at some point in your childhood you pretended to be in command of an aircraft; you pretended to be a pilot, aviator or even an astronaut. There is just something particularly fascinating about a large aircraft, weighing 360 tons, floating through air and time. At MTM, we are not only fascinated with “how” planes can fly, but even more so with the gear and tools that are crucial for pilots to get their job done. From such inquisitive thoughts, the MTM Air Stryk II pilot watch was born.Read More

A Time To Blog Watches / MTM Seal Watch
Arriving in the watertight tactical case that I have grown accustomed to receiving with the MTM watches, the Seal dive watch is today’s review piece. Upon opening the tactical case, I was greeted by not one strap, but two straps and a titanium bracelet. There is a ballistic velcro I, one rubber style I, both of which I have experience with from my other MTM reviews.Read More
The Loadout Room / Cobra Watch Review By Loadout Room
As the first day of Fall is upon us and we start gearing up for colder weather and rainier days, we’d like to share the MTM Special Ops Cobra watch review with you, written by Loadout Room author Erik Meisner. With a respectable military background and an active licensed pilot and SCUBA diver, Erik is no stranger to the outdoors and appreciates the beauty of a high-quality timepiece.
In the review, Erik points out the popularity of the Casio G-Shock due to its durability at its low price point. He then goes on to mention, as he matured and his salary increased, he was able to move on to a more aesthetically pleasing timepiece that makes a statement, the MTM Special Ops Cobra. Erik, like many other watch enthusiasts, has invested time and money in search of the “perfect timepiece”. The search was over for Erik when he came across our booth at the SHOT show and instinctively gravitated towards our limited edition watch displays. The review goes on to compare the MTM Cobra to a couple of other brands, evaluates its user-friendliness, points out its distinct features, and closes with a comprehensive list of specs.Read More

The Loadout Room / MTM WATCH FALCON
The MTM Special Ops Silver Falcon is a watch that I was very excited to review. I generally prefer a more simplistic watch and stay away from ones with extra bells and whistles, but the Falcon manages to offer the extras while maintaining a very classy profile. The primary benefit I see in this watch is with the LED torch and strobe lights. For every day carry situations, having those features on your wrist is pretty cool.Read More
A Time To Blog Watches / MTM RAD WATCH
The RAD(short for Radioactive) case has a complete and finished feel. After spending a lot of time with this watch, that is one thing that I noticed. I could tell that MTM spent quite a bit of time in the planning and design phase with this watch. Each of the pushers follows the lead of the large, oversized screw down crown, all of which have knurled edges. All of which are extremely easy to grip and extremely easy to operate. Each functions with absolute precision.Read More
The Loadout Room / MTM Falcon Watch Review
This summer has been packed with action for MTM, including a website redesign, new media, press, watch models, etc., and once in a while, it’s nice to reflect back and work completed and kudos earned. We recently received watch reviews from a tactical gear company and watch blogger, analyzing, and documenting MTM watch models from their perspective and use. Within the past month, Loadout Room, a gear and adventure company that provides insight into various hunting, shooting, adventure, and outdoor-related activities, featured an MTM Special Ops Gray Falcon watch review. Rex Nanorum wrote the review after taking the watch with him on a trip to Alaska. Rex is native to Alaska but now lives with his family in Oregon, and once was a US Army Ranger with the 2nd Bn, 75th Ranger Regt, completing five tours to Afghanistan and Iraq. Rex was quick to put the MTM Special Ops Falcon Watch to the test and begin documenting its pro’s and con’s from his point of view. Nitehawk / Chronograph Watch Review – MTM Hypertec Chrono 2
We had the pleasure to look at, and explore the Hypertec Chrono 2. From first glance, it comes out as a strong piece of machinery and intimidating display. We prepared ourselves to take good care of this watch and quickly decided it was best to truly use the watch as it was intended.
Breach Bang Clear / MTM Black Falcon Review
At MTM we understand that it all comes down to what you want in a watch and what it’s worth to you. We know that when it comes to quality timepieces just as there are less expensive options with fewer features there are also more expensive options with added features. We recognize that in most social circles, besides a wedding ring, a fine timepiece is the only other piece of jewelry acceptable for a man to wear. At MTM, we make sure every one of our limited edition timepieces is reliable, bold, and sure to make a statement.
Our friend J. Darwin, law enforcement and firearm enthusiast from the Breach Bang Clear blog recently tested and reviewed the MTM Falcon. You can read the review in its entirety here: Eyes On: MTM Black Falcon. His thoughts on the watch prior to receiving it were that it was going to be heavy and overpriced. However, upon receiving and opening the watertight tactical box that each MTM watch is securely shipped in his perception quickly changed and he states “MTM does not mess around.. the thing [watch] is not light yet isn’t annoyingly heavy”. Mr. Darwin goes on to describe the Falcon and its distinct features and functions. He elaborates on the two features that interested him most, which were; the small LED lights that provide 5 different light mode sequences, and the rechargeable battery. To learn more about the MTM Falcon watch please visit its product page on the MTM Special Ops website, MTM Falcon.Read More
A Time To Blog Watches / MTM Black Cobra Review
With their threatening hoods, intimidating posture and venomous bite, cobras are amongst the most iconic snakes on earth; both respected and feared. Emulating their dominant qualities in the MTM Cobra watch has been well-respected in the watch industry by both collectors and competitors.
Watch enthusiast, Stephen Mazinger, owner and author of ‘A Time to Blog Watches’ recently tested out the 47mm MTM Black Cobra and this is what he had to say… “First glance impression is tactical stealth… The Cobra achieves what MTM wanted to provide the wearer, a tactical watch, that has useful features that can be easily used in all settings, especially out in the field”. To start the review, Mazinger reminisces about his younger childhood years, when his favorite and toughest battles were between G.I. Joe & Cobra, bringing him back to the good old days. Cobra being the arch-rival and nemesis for the 1908’s all-mighty & all-American Hero, G.I. Joe.Read More

The Loadout Room / Watch Review by The Loadout Room – MTM Hypertec Chrono
Rick Dembroski, a former United States Air Force Staff Sergeant and Civil Engineer, recently wrote an MTM Hypertec Chrono watch review on The Loadout Room. His in-depth perspective and analysis of this men’s watch describes a unique taste and flavor for this type of tactical watch. Even though the Hypertec Chrono is another military watch for men, made by MTM Special Ops Watches, it is slightly different than the majority of MTM watches. It sports a cool modern look and feel that does not fear the outdoors, but can also be able be quick to turn heads when you are out for a night on the town. You can keep it classy without losing a touch of ruggedness with this watch. It comes in at a slightly lower price point than most other MTM watches, giving it some additional appeal to add it to your collection of cool chronograph watches.Read More

Fog Horn / MTM Rad Watch Review by Fog Horn
How many people really know what radiation is and how it affects us? In physics, radiation is described as the energy that is transmitted in the form of rays or waves. Generally speaking, there are three elements of radiation that are of concern to us; alpha, beta, and gamma. Alpha particles are slow-moving, have low energy levels, and don’t penetrate clothing or skin but can cause harm if inhaled, swallowed, or absorbed through open wounds. Beta particles have a slightly higher energy level than Alpha and can moderately penetrate human skin 1 to 2 cm. Gamma particles are forms of electromagnetic radiation commonly associated with x-rays. Gamma rays readily penetrate clothing and human skin and are very damaging depending on exposure.Read More
A Blog to Watch / Falcon Review
MTM designed the Falcon to be a large masculine watch. A piece like this has 44mm of width looking its largest. This is because of the very wide lug structure and actual cushion shape of the case. The case thankfully has a diver’s style rotating bezel as well as a water resistance of 100 meters. I think it would have been cool to get the water resistance up to 200-300 meters, as well as make the light function work under water – that would have been cool. The crystal is anti-reflective (AR) coated sapphire.
Watch Report / MTM Seal Watch
I did my first review of an MTM Special Ops watch almost exactly two years ago. If I remember correctly, it was the only MTM model available at the time. MTM is now up to no fewer than eight different models with a very impressive selection of materials, finishes, and features. Although each MTM model is interesting in its own right, the new MTM Black Seal Xtreme Dive Watch stands out as an unusual and impressive feat of engineering.Read More
